So, Gracie is doing well this am. Life in the NICU they say is one step forward, two steps back. I just want her healthy to go home!!
She is still not on feedings, today their going to do the belly test. In layman's terms (which are best suited for me), they'll give her some liquid down her feeding tube, in a few hours do an xray of her belly & a few hours after that another xray to follow the fluid thru, to rule out any blockages. Maybe they'll find that she has reflux (which most preemies have), and they can treat it. Probably won't know any test results til tomorrow.
She lost a few oz, as expected. But she's doing good. Resting with little dsats.
We'll be leaving here today around 1-1:30, and then back on Friday. So only home for two days.
