Hi everyone! Gracie started back at 4 cc's/hour at around 10:30ish, and at 1:00 she was doing good. So we are keeping our fingers crossed. She was not having any d-sats & no regurges.. we miss her.
We were able to go by Maxwell's plot tonight. We try to visit him at least once, while we are in town.. it is soo surreal. We are standing in front of this little spot, with his name (a name we carefully decided on two years ago). His middle name after my grandmother, (remember her house I owned was on Hathaway Street), it makes me re live her death all over again, she will have passed 10 years on Sunday 9/25. Wow.. I know she is just loving on Maxwell though, and that makes it a little better.
Just across Maxwell's plot, is another grandmother.. Mamie Howland. (Max's godmother, Heather's Mom). She went too young, with a terrible disease.. I'm glad that we can visit Maxwell & stop by to say "hi" to Mamie as well. She would be very happy to also have Maxwell in heaven.
Well, we need to continue to remain positive for Grace. We so want her home! Plan on going up tomorrow afternoon.. will stop by hospital on the way, so I'll update tomorrow evening.
