Time flies when you're having fun!
Grace is 19 months old today!
Last weight: 18 lbs. 13 oz.
Diaper Size: 3
PJ's size: 12 mos
Onesies: 9-12 mos; Pants 9-12 mo.
Favorite toys: Anything she can hold & shake & put in her mouth!
Monkey; Laptop; Loves to Play Catch with her Ball.
Smiles all the time & is a very happy baby!!!
Grace knows how to wave, she claps & signs "more"
Just recently (this weekend), when you ask for a kiss,
Grace will put her hand to her mouth to blow you a kiss!!
Grace has 4 bottom teeth, 4 top teeth..
and all 4 molars are coming in!!
(thus the fingers are always in her mouth!)
Grace is eating 3 meals a day via G-tube..
her schedule is 9 a.m., 1 p.m., & 6 p.m.
we try to accompany table food meal with two of those feeds.
Then in the evening, she has 3 more g-tube feeds, for a total of
750 ml's (25 oz) in a 24 hour period.
When she wants, she can drink from a sippy cup..usually water.
She holds anything you put in her hand, and licks it..
bread, toast.. pretzels..
she loves savory/spicy foods..
we've learned to thicken flavorful foods with baby oatmeal, bread crumbs,
or even mashed potato flakes..in pureeing soups..
she eats all table food..no more baby jars.
Grace is a great traveler!! She's been up to visit Noni & Grandpa in
Lewiston, NY (near Niagara Falls);
and many visits up to North Conway, NH.
Grace is just learning she has a voice.. she has always said "HI"..
and now she's continued making more sounds daily..
She's doing great! And we feel blessed every day that she's in our lives!
