2013 - SUPERGIRL!! 21 lbs. 7.5 oz!!

And standing soo tall!

 Grace enjoyed a couple of house visits tonight..

and ended with some chowder at Pub 99!

What a joy to see that every year, she has significantly grown & gained weight..

she had her flu shot today..gained back the pound she lost while she

was sick.. She's doing soo well!

Milestone Monday..

After not having PT for 2 weeks, it was tough for Grace

to get back into it..

 

YES she is crying! But she did so well..

she walked in her gait trainer as well..

(she gets one fitted for home next week)

& tomorrow, she goes to get new AFO's (braces)..she's outgrown her

current ones!

 

Gotta love the helmet!!

All better!

First full day (except some night time coughing, I hear!!)

of feeling better..

I kept Grace home from Music Together, we'll go next week..

and tomorrow's her last swim class, so we'll see them next spring!

But we played all morning, and she had a great nap!

 

She even stood up against the couch today,

playing with wayy too much on it..

 

 

She's getting soo strong in her legs.. doing very well standing up

against the couch!!

Her PT will be happy on Monday!

 

 

No big plans for the weekend..just a nice brunch at a friend's

on Sunday..maybe pumpkin carving tomorrow afternoon.

All up to my little lovebug, don't want to rush in on taking her

anywhere to be re-exposed to stuff!

 

 

Surely getting a little chilly on the east coast!

A wave & a smile!

Tonight was a funky day for me..

not good or bad..just indifferent!

 

The great news is Grace is feeling better..

 

Just look at her:

She had a little higher fever this morning..but by mid afternoon

& tonight .. nothing! Today's the first day she didn't have to go to sleep

with ibuprofren or tylenol..

I hope this means tomorrow she'll be willing to play :)

I miss playing with her..she's been just wanting to snuggle & be held..

(which Daddy got alot of that today)..

 

Unfortuantely, I got quite ill this morning myself..

my belly was in alot of pain & I was vomitting.

Daddy let me sleep for a couple of hours this afternoon, and

I'm feeling better..

 

Tomorrow is a follow up with the pediatrician..

hope this contines for Miss Grace.

Yucky Virus!!

Grace has been officially sick for a week today!

Yucky Virus..

We've been to the pediatrician twice last week,

and then the ER yesterday..

(just to make sure it was nothing else).

 

Poor baby!

She's been throwing up, and that would be okay, if she didn't

have such high fevers!

Yesterday mornings fever was 104.4 when we decided to take her to

the emergency room!  One thing she hasn't been is dehydrated..because

we do our best to give her extra water thru the gtube.

 

I just wish it was over though..

the ER said they are seeing a lot of viruses lately..

that last 7-10 days!

I hope she's turning the corner!!

 

  This was yesterday.. a little smile as she played with her Horse puppet!! She loves her puppets!

And her new t-shirt for sleep.. a "Hawaii" shirt from Auntie Dalila..

 

 

 

Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers..

we really need her to start feeling better.

Mommy needs Fun too!

I was invited out last night by a dear friend, Lisa..

for a Paint Nite in Providence..

and it was soo much fun!

 

Lisa, and two other wonderful ladies & I had a drink,

a small appetizer (who knew fried pickles were so good??)

and Painted!!

She wasn't even leaning into her..

She was practicing putting things in..(fine motor) & did great!!

 

 

A little bit of a high fever the last few days..

seems like it's just viral..

(i hope!)

An unexpected death .. a man close to my parents..makes me soo

sad today!!

 

 

 

And to Maxwell.. I held you in my arms, I got to see your pretty smile

and your pretty eyes..

I know some women who don't even get that much.

I love you buddy.. & I HEAR you!!

To all my Mom friends, a HUG for you today..

October 15th is Infant & Miscarriage Loss Day..

The Great Pumpkin Patch

A visit to the Pumpkin Patch today..

Grace seemed to be having fun..she was looking at all the Pumpkins

 

 

 

 

Soo cute!! We need to get her to look up when we

are taking her picture!

 

 

Last year, she cried thru this experience! lol

 

 

 

A quick visit to Vevo's & she wasn't feeling well..

we got home & found out she had a temperature..

a little tylenol & we're keeping an

eye on her!

More, more & more...

Grace is doing some great walking..

here's a video from Monday.. we go in early November

to get fitted for her own gait trainor..

she is doing so well.. & she claps when she's done, so proud of herself!

 

She really takes off in this one..  it's only 26 seconds..

watch it all!!

 

 

In other news, today was PT at home, and again.. she did great!

Sat all by herself on a ball..

we put on her braces & shoes, and she did alot of sit to standing..

She's getting stronger by the minute!

Her PT is soo impressed & proud of her!

As we are!! Love you lovebug!! xo

 

 

 

 

I'm feeling annoyed today.. for many reasons..

but before I go to bed.. one of my reasons is that it seems

there's alot of women, who can't afford the children they have

(4 by 4 different dad's), having more children.

I don't know why!

I'm so upset about it.

I mean.. I believe you can always give your child LOVE..

but why did we have to lose Maxwell..

and two subsequent after that..

and someone with 4 can be having 1 or 2 more.

Deep breaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Busy Beavers.. & pics :)

Most of you just care about the pictures..

life is busy!

I'm feeling a bit tired from it all.. but it's a good busy!

Grace's new bathing suit for swim class.. but it's a 12 mo & it was

a little tight on her..Auntie picked up an 18 mo one, hopefully that won't

be too big!

Grace is learning with OT how to hold a crayon..she colored this great

scribble line.. it'll be our first picture for the newly renovated office!

She is doing soo much better sitting up against something!
