The Great Pumpkin Patch

A visit to the Pumpkin Patch today..

Grace seemed to be having fun..she was looking at all the Pumpkins

 

 

 

 

Soo cute!! We need to get her to look up when we

are taking her picture!

 

 

Last year, she cried thru this experience! lol

 

 

 

A quick visit to Vevo's & she wasn't feeling well..

we got home & found out she had a temperature..

a little tylenol & we're keeping an

eye on her!

More, more & more...

Grace is doing some great walking..

here's a video from Monday.. we go in early November

to get fitted for her own gait trainor..

she is doing so well.. & she claps when she's done, so proud of herself!

 

She really takes off in this one..  it's only 26 seconds..

watch it all!!

 

 

In other news, today was PT at home, and again.. she did great!

Sat all by herself on a ball..

we put on her braces & shoes, and she did alot of sit to standing..

She's getting stronger by the minute!

Her PT is soo impressed & proud of her!

I'm feeling annoyed today.. for many reasons..

but before I go to bed.. one of my reasons is that it seems

there's alot of women, who can't afford the children they have

(4 by 4 different dad's), having more children.

I don't know why!

I'm so upset about it.

I mean.. I believe you can always give your child LOVE..

but why did we have to lose Maxwell..

and two subsequent after that..

and someone with 4 can be having 1 or 2 more.

Deep breaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Busy Beavers.. & pics :)

Most of you just care about the pictures..

life is busy!

I'm feeling a bit tired from it all.. but it's a good busy!

 

  big girl!

Grace's new bathing suit for swim class.. but it's a 12 mo & it was

a little tight on her..Auntie picked up an 18 mo one, hopefully that won't

be too big!

I'm sure you can see some of it..this is from Milestone Monday...(tuesday)

Grace is learning with OT how to hold a crayon..she colored this great

scribble line.. it'll be our first picture for the newly renovated office!

 

And another milestone.. Grace is sitting against the couch playing!!

She is doing soo much better sitting up against something!

She's getting big!!

All Good things happening...

Grace was in a new walker at PT this week..

here's the video..

 

you can actually see her pushing herself in it..& taking steps :)

we're so proud of her!

 

 

this is the type we would get at home, I think we'll put in a request next week

to get that started.  It'll be a little tougher for her on carpet..but I think

she'll do great.

(Now to finish getting the house ready for one more 'new' thing.. arghhh...

never enough room!)

 

 

Grace also ate some cheeseballs the other night..

3 to be exact, & this is the proof I have that she ate them:

 

 

And another milestone this week.. Grace can now sit up straight

in store carts! 



 

 

She's such a big girl!  Started Music Together again on Friday mornings & another session of swim classes on Saturday mornings.

Milestone Monday!

Grace is getting big fast.. it's amazing what no leaky g-tube will do..

(it's frustrating as well.. because her skin around the area is still red & irritated)..

we'll head to the doctor's this afternoon.

 

Grace is weighing in this morning at

 

20 lbs. 12 oz!!!

YEA!! 

 

She has consistently gaining weight..and her nutritionist is very happy,

as we are!!

 



  In her car at Vevo's..she's actually too tall for it,

but sits in it very well.

This is her Milestone Monday picture..

Grace is standing up on her own (with little support from Daddy) ..

her legs have gotten alot stronger..

 

 

  And after years of needing a new one, we got a new shower head this weekend!  Grace was not very excited last night about it..

she had her first "code brown" in the shower & wasn't liking the water on her.

hopefully she'll like it next time!  Me, I love it!  Like a rain forest..

We have a biter!

And a pincher!! And she is not biting food..

Grace has left two bite marks on Daddy, and many

bruises of pinching on Mommy!

(arghhhh!!)

We "sign" no..but not sure that's working..

so 2 minute time outs are going to start!

A pointed finger waved in front of her face as well..

(my mother used to poke us with the same finger.ouch!)

 

 

  And if she totally gets upset..this is the

new boo boo lip we get.. (she usually smiles within seconds)..or cries like in this picture (but that's because Uncle Ross made her cry or sometimes Vevo!)

Finally sits up straight in this very old (at least 16 years old) fisher price chair

that my nephew used to use.. She's still tiny/thin..but she sat in it

pretty good!

 

 

 

 

We see the nutritionist on Monday (next week).. I can't wait

to get her weighed again!

 

 

 

All is well..

We are sure her 2 year molars are still trying to break through..

poor thing..has been a wreck in the early morning sometimes waking

up from sleep.. & in puddles of drool!
